This blog, has always been about assisting people with drive and passion, giving these people exposure who may not get it from the blogosphere echo chamber. To that end, i have recently started mentoring Khalil in blogging and given Mongezi a chance to get his entrepreneurial networking event Netweb off the ground. We are also working at getting budding entrepreneurs a free business plan done with the help of Sabusinessplans. We introduced Gareth Knight (Oneafrikan) to Mongezi for the Netweb event, and out of the event Gareth has decided to offer his time freely to mentor entrepreneurs. We are just wrapping up the first session and i can say i got incredible value and i am sure the others have as well. So, why help Cebo?
Cebo is currently completing his BA (Marketing communications) and is doing the digital strategy at the AAA marketing academy. I have spoken to walter, and he vouches for him as being an intelligent student with potential. Part of the requirement for the course is having a laptop so they can actually use the internet to learn digital media strategy. He currently has about R2,500, a low end laptop costs +- R5,000.
